Bjorn woke up easter morning excited to see what the easter bunny had left. He got MORE candy and a light sketcher. His cousin, Ashlyn, has one and he always loves to play with it. So he was excited to see that he has his very own now. He has been playing with it every day since Bjorn gets kind of sick of his normal toys, so it's fun to add some new things into the mix. We had a nice Sunday. We went to church and then to Grandma Cathy's for easter dinner with the family. I wish I would've gotten a picture of all of us in our Sunday dress. You'll just have to settle for pictures of Bjorn in his favorite pajamas and messy hair.

Cute pictures. It sounds like you had a nice, quiet Easter. How fun. Don't you miss the hunt at Boyd and Loa's farm this time of year? It's so tradition - I wish we could still do that. I've never heard of a light skecher - I'm not hip with the happenin' toys. I never buy toys, but that looks like fun. I'm all for artsy things. My poor kids, cause if you don't like art projects you're not finding anything fun to do at my house. :)
I don't entertain them with art projects, oh no, I'm not that good of a mom. I just get the paints out, or the markers, or the play dough, or the crayons, or the whatever else and let them go for it. We HAVE colored over objects (you know, like you do in grade school - put a leaf under your paper and color with a crayon over it to reveal the design). It's kind of fun to see what different objects look like. We have made snowflakes, valentines, birthday cards, paper dolls, and all the run-of-the-mill things. They love stamps, too. And anything that can be cut or glued is always a hit. Samera loves to have me draw a Christmas tree and then let her decorate it with cut out ornaments, stickers, etc. She thinks that's great. They also like to paint rocks to look like animals, or string beads on thread. I don't know...I'm sure there are more things we do, I just don't keep track of them. Sorry. If YOU have any ideas, let me know. I feel like I get less creative as time goes by.
Amy- I was on Andrea's blog and saw your comment on one of her posts, so I had to check out your blog! How fun to see you and your kids! They are so cute! I can't believe how much Bjorn looks like Jason. He always did, but he does so even more as he's gotten older. And your baby Isaac is so cute! Congratulations! What a cute family! We miss you guys!
