This Month's Haircut
Prior to this month, we have always done Bjorn's haircuts at home in our bathroom. As you can see from the first pictures, he wasn't thrilled with the cover I made him wear... but that is what happens when you have a clean freak for a mom. Today Jason needed to get a haircut so he decided to take Bjorn too. He said Bjorn just sat there and didn't say a word through the whole haircut. Usually when we cut his hair, we are bribing him with treats the whole time to get him to sit still and not cry. So I think we will be letting someone else do it from now on. We can avoid the battle and avoid the clean-up. Sounds good to me!

Oh my heck! Haircuts are the WORST to clean up. I about have an anxiety attack every time I even think about cutting someone's hair. It's impossible to clean up, and I never even know where to start, cause there is hair EVERYWHERE. That is why poor Sy goes months without a haircut. I put it off and put it off - and I'm not even the one that does it, Ty is, but I have to sit there and hold him down and then clean it up. Yuck. Maybe I'll take him somewhere next time - that sounds like a great idea! Thanks.

I love the homemade target cover. Really, its a great idea. Bjorn looks so cute with his new hair I love it. JoJo has two looks the Buzz and the grow out. I'm hoping someday we can give him a cute one like that. Miss you

Giving Noah a haircut is definitely not on my list of fun things to do. He's getting better at letting me do it, but usually the affair ends up with me holding him while he burries his face in my neck and screams and cries and Joel very very quickly buzzes the heck out of his head. Then he and I end up covered in hair from head to toe. The hair on Noah is stuck to him from the sucker we bribe him with that he's never able to finish because it's covered in hair. We all need showers in the end. What a nightmare! I've tried to take him to someone else but he refused. I'm a little envious that you're now relieved from that fun job. Lucky you!
I can't believe how old he is looking! I like the Target bag idea too. I make my boys lay down on the bathroom floor (on a towel) when I buzz their heads. That way all the hair falls backwards and I don't have to deal with the insane tantrums when they get hair in their mouth and snot!

I have to say I love the Target bag. I should make one for my husband the next time he wants his hair cut, and then maybe he will let someone else do it too.
