Little Organizer

The other day I was trying to get the house cleaned and I had a list of things I really wanted to get done.  Bjorn came in and I could tell he was in need of something constructive to do.  I asked him if he wanted to help me.  He is always SO excited if we give him little jobs to do and I know I need to take advantage of that while it lasts.  So I asked him to take all the shoes off their shelves and then wipe the shelves down and put the shoes back.  He had so much fun doing it... way more fun than I would've had.  And he actually did a really good job.  It reminded me to try to include him in my daily tasks, because it helps me out and he really does like it.  Plus it's teaching him to help with the chores.

I need to remember that too. I would much rather do everything myself, but I know I need to start teaching my kids to work - or at least how to clean. Plus they love it. I just don't think of it.

Like Father and Mother like son! With the very clean and organized parents he has I'm not surprised he enjoyed it! After living with you and knowing how clean and neat you guys are that made me laugh to see those pictures of him.

Isn't that funny how they can really help sometimes! The other day Lily cleaned some spots off the wall, and I was like wow! Your boys are so cute :)
