I can't believe one year has gone by since Isaac was born. It has gone by so fast. He seems way too little to be one! He has been so much fun to have in our family! He loves to smile and laugh. He is starting to jabber a lot and get into all sorts of mischief. I think that Isaac's birthday was the most fun for Bjorn. He woke up and went straight downstairs to see the balloons and presents. He came upstairs and said "holy sakes!" That is a combination of "holy gosh" (I don't know how he came up with that) and "goodness sakes". Pretty clever. He couldn't wait for Isaac to wake up and see everything. (Not that there was much to see, but to a 4 year old, balloons and presents are all you need) Bjorn opened Isaac's presents for him and pretty much took over the new toys. We ran a few errands and then had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. Yum! Poor Isaac had to miss his nap so by the time we got home to have his Birthday cake he was pretty wiped out. Bjorn blew out the candle for him and tried to help him eat his cake. I don't know that Isaac appreciated that part. We had a fun day together and got some good video so that we can show Isaac when he's older.

What fun to be one and not even know it's your birthday! It's always more fun for the older kids. Glad you took lots of photos - what a handsome little man.

Happy Birthday Isaac! Wow, I also can't believe that it has been a year! I remember looking at the post that you had the baby and thinking how you lucky you were that the pregnancy was over. I would so love to let our boys play together sometime. Maybe in May...
