Jason's birthday was on the 22nd. He is 30 years old now!!! Wow! We had a pretty chilled out day. I made him biscuits and gravy, one of his favorite breakfasts. That afternoon I made my first 2 layer cake for him. That's what my mom always made us, so I figured I better keep the tradition going. So when Bjorn woke up from his nap he was so happy to see cake, sprinkles, balloons and birthday hats. We were bound and determined to get a descent picture of the 4 of us. It took some work, but after tears and tantrums we ended up with a pretty cute one. That night we went out to dinner as a family and Grandma Cathy got to come with us too! She spoiled Jason with all his favorite things form Leslie's Bakery. YUM. Like I said, it was a pretty relaxing day. All Jason asked for was a cherry chip cake and dinner with his family. I'm glad we got to spend the day together! We love you Jas!!

What? I didn't know Jason was older than ME! Sounds like a perfect birthday - nothing better (I think) than spending the day together. Cute picture, too. I actually love the one where Bjorn is freakin' out. :)
